You might be a redneck...

So we scored a free trampoline from a guy who works with Scott. It was unassembled and dirty so Scott set it up in the yard and scrubbed it down. The mat was still wet and Scott didn't want to take it apart again so we figured we would store it across the road on our neighbor's property so we could work on it without the kids seeing it.

It was much too heavy and cumbersome to walk across the street, not to mention I was sick and Scott's back was hurting. So, we had the bright idea to drive it across the street. I mean, who needs a truck when you have a 1986 Crown Vic Ltd?

I laughed so hard when we finally got it on top of the car that I tinkled. The things you do for your kids' Christmas....

We took the girls to the mall last night so they could discuss things with Santa. Lulu had a nice long talk with him but DF was scared of him and would only laugh and high behind Scott while muttering 'piano'. So while I didn't get a picture of the two of them on Santa's lap like I wanted, I did score some very nice photos of them while they rode the miniature carousel.

The car pictures are the funniest I've seen in a long time.

We once used our old car to pull the fabric on the chain link fence tight. Our neighbor pulled up and said to my husband, "You must be from the city." LOL

Your girls are beautiful.

HI! Melissa at http://sunshineysoul.blogspot.com/ sent me over to see your stuff and I think you have a great blog. I love your hats on etsy. My boys (12 &16) are making hats with a knifty knitter and they think they are so cool.

Our family has gone through 3 trampolines. I think you are good parents if you give your kid a trampoline, even better parents if you drive around with it on your car for a while.

LOL! I love it! That is exactly something my husband and I would have done. :o We once (waayyyy back in our younger years) drove an entire solid wood entertainment system across town on top of my Subaru Station wagon. Thinking back, I'm still not sure how it stayed on....

LOL! I love it! It reminds me of something my husband and I would do. Waaayyy back in our younger years, we transported an entire solid wood entertainment center across town on top of my Subaru station wagon. Looking back, I'm not entirely sure how the heck that thing stayed on...
